What are the Prohibited Uses of vehicles in Rent A Car Club?

Only approved Rent A Car Club drivers can book and drive a car while it is under a booking. Engaging in any Prohibited Uses will eliminate any coverage for the renter for any claims related to the physical damage of the car and will also affect the third party liability coverage of our policy.

Prohibited vehicle uses and activities include:

  • Allowing the Rent A Car Club vehicle to be pushed or towed by anyone other than an authorized law enforcement or service vehicle;
  • Making any alterations, additions or improvements to any vehicle.;
  • Smoking in the car;
  • Fuelling the Rent A Car Club vehicle with an improper type of fuel;
  • Use to tow or push anything;
  • Use in any race, pacemaking, competitions, rallies, track days, trials or speed tests whether on the road, track or off-road;
