How to open a claim?

If you intend to open a claim, you have to report the problem to Rent A Car Club, sending an email to support@rentacarclub.com within 24 hours from the end of the rental, and provide all the mandatory documents: 

  • Pick-up rental agreement signed by both owner and renter; 
  • End rental agreement signed by both owner and renter; 
  • Renter's driving licence.

Depending on the type of claim (e.g.: damage, late return, penalty charge notices...), Rent A Car Club needs some specific documents. These documents will be used as proof and will assist our team in being able to determine who is responsible for the damages or extra charges. 

Important: once a claim is opened, you have to provide us with all the requested evidence and/or correspondence within 5 business days. Failure to do so, will be understood as withdrawal of the claim.
